What did you learn from traveling abroad?
There’s always something new to learn. You will find things that annoy you anywhere. People, for the most part, are pretty friendly. Ex-pats are a world-wide community. Real friends, are those people you don’t see, or maybe even speak to for ages, and when you do catch-up again it’s like no time has passed. Some beaches are better than others, but the ocean never ceases to impress. and you never get used to jet-lag.
